Hi there, I am Kimbralyn, the baker behind Knead for Sweets. My journey began in 2020 when I tasted royal icing cookies at my nephew’s first birthday party and thought, “I want to learn how to make these!” That moment sparked a sweet adventure I never expected. That one taste led me to learning, baking, and eventually creating my home bakery, Knead for Sweets, here in Lake Charles.

Since then, I have poured my heart into learning, growing, and sharing sweet treats with my community. Every cookie that leaves my kitchen is made with intention, care, and a whole lot of love for the people who enjoy them.

My husband, better known as the Beeman, brings his local raw honey to the table, and you will taste his honey in many of our treats. Alongside baking, I am also a teacher, a wife, and a mom. My faith keeps me grounded, and my family is at the heart of everything I do.

My favorite sweet treat to make is my soft tea cake cookies, and I love creating crisp, clean logo cookies that make a lasting impression
