General Ordering & Pickup Policy

Why this matters

As a wife, mom, and teacher, my time is carefully planned so I can give my best both at home and in the kitchen. Baking is something I love, and setting clear policies helps me serve you well without overextending myself.

Weekly Order Limits

• I accept up to 4 dozen decorated sugar cookies per week
• I also offer up to 4 dozen total of tea cakes and honey cookies combined
• Once weekly spots are filled, I close orders until the following week

Baking Schedule

• All baking is done Friday through Sunday only
• No baking takes place Monday through Thursday

Contact and Response Time

I will contact you using the method you choose at checkout — either text or email. Please allow up to 24 hours for a reply.

Freshness Guarantee

All cookies are baked fresh and bagged to preserve softness and flavor. When stored in a cool, dry place and kept in their original packaging, your cookies will stay fresh for up to 2 weeks.

If you experience a freshness issue within 3 days of pickup and your cookies were stored properly, please reach out. I’ll do my best to make it right.

Order Deadline

• Orders must be placed and confirmed by Wednesday at 6:00 PM for pickup the following week
• Example: If you need cookies for any day Monday through Thursday of next week, your order must be finalized by 6:00 PM this Wednesday
• Orders submitted after the cutoff cannot be accepted. Please order early to secure your spot

Pickup Details

• Pickup is available Monday through Thursday between 5 PM and 8 PM
• Pickup is contactless and located in Lake Charles
• You’ll receive a text or email when your order is ready

Payment and Deposits

• A nonrefundable deposit is required to confirm your order
• The remaining balance is due at least 3 days before pickup
• Invoices are valid for 24 hours — if no payment or communication is received, the order will be canceled

Respecting Time and Space

If you decide not to move forward with your order, that’s okay — I just kindly ask that you let me know as soon as possible. This helps me manage my schedule and open the spot for someone else.
